Azerbaijani army foils Armenian sabotage attempt One of saboteurs gets wounds

On September 13, at about 19:00, a reconnaissance-sabotage group of the illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping forces are temporarily stationed, attempted to advance through the territory where the Azerbaijan Army Units are deployed.

They tried to use ravine gaps between the combat positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Marjimak settlement of Kalbajar region in order to carry out terrorist-sabotage operations, the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan reported.

The sabotage attempt was suppressed thanks to the vigilance of the Azerbaijan Army's servicemen on combat duty.

The reconnaissance-sabotage group was forced to retreat with one member wounded.
