Azerbaijani athlete finishes eighth at World Cup

Triathlete of the Azerbaijani national team Rostislav Pevtsov continues to score points towards Olympic qualification at World Triathlon Cup in Tongyeng, Korea.

The distance, which consisted of 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling and 2.5 km of running, was covered by Pevtsov in 1 hour, 45 minutes and 30 seconds.

A total of 65 triathletes took part in the competition.
