Azerbaijani athlete Leyla Gurbanova won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games on August 11.

Gurbanova beat the Uzbek athlete Aktenge Keunimzhayeva with a score of 6:1, Trend reports.

At present, Azerbaijani athletes compete at the Games in clay shooting, athletics, taekwondo, wrestling, volleyball, handball, para-swimming, para-archery, table tennis, gymnastics, Paralympic athletics and cycling.
