Azerbaijani athlete - Gymnast of Year in Europe

Azerbaijani tumbler gymnast Mikhail Malkin has been declared Gymnast of the Year in Europe.

The athlete was ahead of all rivals, gaining 226,339 votes (52 per cent), Report informs, citing the official website of European Gymnastics.

Azerbaijani tumbling coach Adil Huseynzade, was declared Coach of the Year, with 196,735 votes (46 per cent).

Malkin won a gold medal at the World Trampoline Gymnastics Championships in Birmingham, UK in 2023.
