Azerbaijani boxer wins tournament in Russia

Azerbaijani boxers have won five prizes at the International Boxing Tournament in memory of the Azerbaijani geoscientist Farman Salmanov in Russia.

Boxer Surat Garayev (86kg) of the Azerbaijani "SC Neftchi" club became the tournament champion with Ravan Aliyev (92kg) losing in the final.

Nevertheless, Magsud Hasmetov (57kg), Ramiz Mammadov (60kg) won bronze, as well as Ilaha Aghamirzoyeva (48kg) for the female tournament, as azerisport.com reports.
