Azerbaijani boxers to take part in Strandja tournament

On February 20, the Strandja international boxing tournament for men and women will start in Sofia (Bulgaria).

According to azerisport.com, Azerbaijan will be represented by eight boxers in the tournament, which will last a week.

Malik Hasanov (63.5kg) and Mahammad Abdullayev (+92kg) will fight in the men's competition, and Gunel Rahimova (48kg), Anakhanim Ismailova (50kg), Zeynab Rahimova (54kg), Mekhseti Hamzayeva (57kg), Shahla Allahverdiyeva (66kg) and Aynur Rzayeva (75kg) in the women's competition.

Azerbaijan will also be represented by Emil Gurbanaliyev in refereeing. The teams will return home on February 27.

It should be noted that over 470 boxers from 42 countries will take part in the 74th Strandja tournament.
