Azerbaijani boxers win six medals at World Cup

The World Cup for young boxers ended in the city of Budva, Montenegro. 

Azerbaijani team has won 1 silver and 5 bronze medals in the tournament which involved 176 athletes from 25 countries (58 girls, 118 boys), according to Oxu.az.

In the final of the tournament Omar Aslanli (54 kg) lost to Mexican Andrey Bonilla, settling for the silver medal.

Thus, the number of medals won by the Azerbaijani team reached six. Previously, Muhammadali Ashuraliev (57 kg), Ziya Hasanov (71 kg), Narmin Alizade (50 kg), Aynur Mikailova (52 kg) and Emily Rzayeva (66 kg) won bronze medals in the tournament.
