Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Haji Aliyev has won a gold medal during the final of the fifth Islamic Solidarity Games in Türkiye’s Konya city.

He gained a victory over Albanian athlete Zelimkhan Abakarov during a match in the category up to 65 kg.

Thus, Aliyev became the winner of the Islamic Solidarity Games for the second time. Previously, he won a gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku in 2017.
