Azerbaijani gymnasts rank fourth at World Challenge Cup Series in Spain

The Azerbaijani rhythmic gymnastics team continues performing at the 2022 World Challenge Cup Series in Rhythmic Gymnastics in the Pamplona city of Spain. The event is taking place from May 20 to 22, 2022.

Azerbaijani gymnast, Zohra Aghamirova, demonstrated compositions with clubs and ribbons on the second day of the competition, according to azerisport.com.

Aghamirova scored 27.850 for the performance with clubs while 28.750 for the performance with ribbon. The Azerbaijani gymnast reached the final following the performance with clubs, while ranked sixth in the overall rankings scoring 117.800.

Earlier, the gymnast also qualified for the final in performances with the ball and hoop.

In turn, the Azerbaijani group exercise team consisting of Zeynab Hummatova, Gullu Agalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Yelizaveta Luzan and Darya Sorokina performed a composition with three ribbons and two balls on the second day of the event.

The team reached the final scoring 29.650 and ranked fourth in the overall rankings with 59.250 points.

Thus, the team take part in two finals. Earlier, the gymnasts reached the final in performances with five hoops.
