Azerbaijani judokas become first in Europe

Azerbaijan's junior judo team took first place in individual competitions at the European Youth Olympic Summer Festival 2023 (EYOF) held in Maribor, Slovenia.

According to Report, the team won 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals.

This is the team's second championship this year. The athletes took first place in the medal standings of the European Championship held in Portugal last month.

It should be noted that the World Junior Judo Championship will be held August 23-27 in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
