Azerbaijani judokas clinch top spot at European Cup

Azerbaijani judokas triumphed at the European Cup among adults, held in Podcetrtek, Slovenia, securing the top position in the medal standings.

According to Report, the Azerbaijani men's team clinched 4 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals, earning them first place in the overall rankings, Caliber.Az reports citing local media.

On the second day of the competition, Maharram Imamverdiyev showcased his skill in the 81 kg category, defeating all his opponents to secure the gold medal.

In the +100 kg category, Imran Yusifov also won gold, while his compatriot Jamal Feyziev earned a bronze medal.

Additionally, Ruslan Nasirli competed in the 100 kg category, finishing in 7th place.
