Azerbaijani national basketball team reaches European Championship semi-finals

At the European Basketball Championship, which is held among small countries in Malta, the Azerbaijani team met with the San Marino team in the quarterfinals.

According to Report, the Azerbaijani national team defeated the rivals with a score of 68-51.

Our national team captain Amil Khamzaev was named the most effective basketball player of the match with 21 points.

The Azerbaijani team will play in the semifinals with the team of Malta on July 2. The match will start at 18:15 (Baku time).
