Azerbaijani president congratulates Greek counterpart on national holiday
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Constantine An. Tassoulas, President of the Hellenic Republic, on the occasion of Greece’s national holiday.
In the message, President Aliyev expressed warm wishes to the Greek people and reaffirmed his commitment to strong bilateral ties.
“On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Hellenic Republic,” Aliyev wrote.
The Azerbaijani president also highlighted the importance of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. “I believe that the relations between Azerbaijan and Greece will continue to develop in an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation, in line with the interests of our peoples,” he added.
Concluding his message, Aliyev extended personal wishes to President Tassoulas and the people of Greece. “On this festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your endeavors, as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Greece,” he stated.
