President Aliyev meets Turkish interior minister, reinforces bilateral ties PHOTO
On April 9, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi, highlighting the ongoing diplomatic engagement and reinforcing strong bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Çiftçi conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to President Aliyev and expressed his gratitude on behalf of Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports, citing the official website of the Azerbaijani head of state.
President Aliyev thanked him for the greetings and asked that his own regards be conveyed to President Erdoğan.
The discussion underscored that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are grounded in principles of brotherhood and strategic partnership, with cooperation expanding across all areas.
The leaders noted the effective collaboration between relevant institutions of both countries, highlighting the successful partnership between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
