Azerbaijani president, first lady informed of tourism development concept of Hadrut

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have been informed of the tourism development concept of the Hadrut settlement.

The head of state and the First Lady were informed that the State Tourism Agency first will restore and carry out landscaping works in the central quarter of the historical part of the settlement in order to develop tourism in Hadrut, Azertag reports.

As part of the restoration and conservation works in the historical part of Hadrut, a temple belonging to the historical and cultural heritage of Caucasian Albania and the three buildings next to it will be restored.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were also informed about the Tourism Information Center.

Azerbaijani leader and first lady have attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the first residential quarter in the settlement of Hadrut.

The head of state was informed of the work to be done.

The first residential quarter will be comprised of 28 houses.

PMD Group LLC will be responsible for the construction of houses in the investment zone for the private sector in the settlement of Hadrut.

They also viewed the restoration project of a 360-seat secondary school in the Hadrut settlement.

The head of state and the First Lady were informed of the project.

The school covers an area of 1.9 hectares. The school will have 15 classrooms, a gym, an assembly hall, a canteen, a library, a military classroom, three laboratories, and two computer labs.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone for an administrative center in the Hadrut settlement of the Khovajand district.

The head of state and the First Lady were informed of the project.

The administrative center occupies a total area of 4.2 hectares.

The construction of the administrative premises of the Hadrut settlement will end in March 2024.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the administrative center in the Hadrut settlement.

Azerbaijani president and first lady attended the inauguration of the 8.2-km section of the Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway.

Chairman of the Board of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads Saleh Mammadov briefed the head of state on the work done.

The 42km old road was shortened by 2.3 km and replaced with the new 39.7 km one.

Six bridges have been constructed over the four-lane highway with 18 bus stops set up.

The new highway will run through Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts and link some 20 residential areas including the settlement of Hadrut and city of Jabrayil.
