Azerbaijani president ratifies agreements with Pakistan, Belarus
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has ratified three agreements signed between the governments of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, namely, the Preferential Trade Agreement, the Transit Trade Agreement, and the Air Services Agreement.
All three documents were signed in Islamabad on July 11, 2024, Caliber.Az reports, citing the information published on the Azerbaijani president’s official website.
President Aliyev has also approved the protocol on "Amendments and Additions to the Agreement between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Belarus on Cooperation in the Field of Quarantine and Plant Protection" originally signed on May 2, 2007.
The president has ratified the protocol on "Amendments and Additions to the Agreement between the Governments of Azerbaijan and Belarus on Veterinary Cooperation" signed on May 2, 2007.
These protocols were signed in Baku on May 16, 2024.
Moreover, President Aliyev has signed a law approving changes to the "Agreement Establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development."
According to the document, the amendments to the "Agreement Establishing the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development," which were adopted through resolutions #259 and #260 by the EBRD Board of Directors on May 18, 2023 were approved.
