Azerbaijani President receives Turkish minister of industry, technology

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank on April 4.

During the meeting, President Aliyev congratulated the Turkish minister on the production of the first domestic electric car Togg by Türkiye, expressed gratification with its import to Baku and expressed gratitude to the Turkish president, Caliber.Az reports, citing the president's press service.

While recalling his yesterday's meeting with Selcuk Bayraktar, chief technology officer of the Turkish Baykar company, President Aliyev noted that high-tech products have been recently produced in Türkiye in the defence and civil industries, adding that this was the result of the intellect, talent and labour of the Turkish people under the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Gratification with the development of friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in various spheres, including industry and technologies, was expressed during the conversation. The views on the prospects for bilateral cooperation were exchanged.
