Azerbaijani President: We will never forget genocide, injustice and war crimes committed against our people

Our lands were under occupation for nearly 30 years. Armenia carried out a policy of ethnic cleansing against our people. Hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis were forced out of their native lands, and became refugees and displaced persons.

President Ilham Aliyev made the statement as he addressed the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Novruz holiday in the Talish village of the Tartar district, according to Azertag.

“Acts of genocide, injustice, and war crimes were committed against our people. We will never forget that. We must never forget that,” the Azerbaijani President emphasized.
