Azerbaijani rower becomes 9th at EURO

European Youth Rowing Championship (U-23) took place in Hazewinkel (Belgium).

Ziya Mammadzade represented Azerbaijan at the tournament with the participation of more than 200 rowers from 30 countries, azerisport.com reports.

In the 2000m lightweight rowing competition, he first qualified, then the semi-finals, reaching the B-final, finishing 9th at the EURO.
