Azerbaijani military personnel participating in the international “Winter Exercise-2025” in the Turkish city of Kars have demonstrated remarkable professionalism and precision.
The exercise, which involve over 12,000 servicemen from multiple countries, are designed to enhance operational interaction between various military units, refine fire control strategies, and strengthen search-and-rescue operations, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry.
The scenario-driven drills saw Azerbaijani forces actively engaged in the destruction of enemy infrastructure and combat elements. Utilizing a range of military assets, including artillery, armored vehicles, combat aircraft, and helicopters, the Azerbaijani contingent targeted and neutralized shelters, equipment, and the personnel of simulated illegal armed groups.
Moreover, in a particularly challenging segment of the exercise, tactical airborne units were deployed from aircraft and undertook complex combat missions in the mountainous terrain of Kars. Despite the harsh weather conditions, these units successfully executed their assignments, underscoring the high level of readiness and adaptability demonstrated by the Azerbaijani servicemen.
The ongoing exercises serve as a vital platform for strengthening international military cooperation and enhancing the operational capabilities of participating forces in diverse and demanding environments.
