Azerbaijani shooters claim bronze at 3rd CIS Games PHOTO

Azerbaijani shooters Javid Hasanov and Jamila Pashayeva have won a bronze medal at the III CIS Games.

Hasanov and Pashayeva took third place in the trap shooting competition in Zagatala, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Russians Ilya Kushagin and Yelizaveta Evgrafova took gold, while Kazakhstan's Maxim Poshivalov and Lidia Basharova took silver.

The award ceremony took place after the competition.

The III CIS Games feature a total of 1,624 athletes from some of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which is formed by 13 of the former member states of the Soviet Union, as well as athletes from Cuba, Oman, Türkiye, Pakistan and Kuwait. The competitions in the various disciplines take place all across the country and will conclude on October 8.
