Azerbaijani triathlete ranks 14th at European Championships

Member of the Azerbaijani triathlon team Rostislav Pevtsov has ranked 14th at the European Championships in Munich, Germany.

The 35-year-old athlete covered the distance of 1,500 meters by water within 18 minutes 37 seconds, Report informs.

Then Pevtsov covered a 40-kilometre distance on a bicycle within 51 minutes and 16 seconds.

The triathlete completed the last stage of the competition, namely, a 10 km race within 32 minutes 6 seconds.

The athlete ranked 14th in the overall standings, covering the total distance within 1 hour 43 minutes 1 second.

The winner of the tournament, in which 71 athletes were competing, was French athlete Leo Bergere.
