Azerbaijani working group discusses Alat FEZ development prospects

The Ministry of Economy discussed the prospects of the development of the Alat free economic zone and the development of a roadmap for the activities of a special working group on the economic zone.

The discussions were held within the framework of the first meeting of the working group on the economic zone. Acting Minister of Economy, head of the working group Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairman of the Board of the authorized body of the Alat Free Economic Zone Valeh Alaskarov, and representatives of relevant state structures took part in the meeting.

The meeting heard information on the reforms carried out in the country to diversify the non-oil economy, favorable business environment, and measures to attract investments.
