Azerbaijan’s non-oil budget revenues reach $6.46 billion in first half of 2026

Revenues to Azerbaijan’s state budget from the non-oil and gas sector reached 10.981 billion manats (about $6.46 billion) in the first half of 2026, exceeding the forecast by 3.1% and rising 6.8% year on year.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the non-oil and gas sector accounted for 57.3% of total state budget revenues during the period, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

Tax authorities contributed 7.0645 billion manats ($4.16 billion), or 64.3% of non-oil and gas revenues, while customs authorities provided 3.1436 billion manats ($1.85 billion), or 28.6%.

A further 350.7 million manats ($206.3 million) came from paid services provided by state-funded organisations, 394 million manats ($231.8 million) from other revenues, and 28.2 million manats ($16.6 million) from the leasing of state property.

Overall, Azerbaijan’s state budget revenues totalled 19.1792 billion manats ($11.28 billion) in January-June, while expenditures amounted to 16.7755 billion manats ($9.87 billion).

As a result, the state budget recorded a surplus of 2.4037 billion manats (about $1.41 billion) during the reporting period.
