Azerbaijan-Georgia trade jumps 45.2% in first half of 2026

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia reached $574.9 million in January–June 2026, up $179.04 million, or 45.2%, from the same period last year, according to data from the State Customs Committee.

The data showed during the six months, Azerbaijan's exports to Georgia increased by 52.5% to $502.8 million, while imports from Georgia rose by 8.9% to $72.1 million, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Georgia accounted for 2.3% of Azerbaijan's total foreign trade turnover during the reporting period.

Exports to Georgia made up 3% of Azerbaijan's total exports, while imports from the country accounted for 0.8% of total imports.

Overall, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover with international partners totalled $24.7 billion in the first half of 2026, marking a 1.1% increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
