Azerbaijani wrestler becomes European champion

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler has won a gold medal at the European U-17 Junior Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia.

National team member Isa Yusibov (65 kg) had a tense fight with Russian Yasin Bersanukayev in the final and defeated him 3:1, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

In addition, Hajigusein Akhmedzadeh (48 kg) and Husein Huseynov (55 kg) won bronze medals, and Muhammed Gantemirov (110 kg) took silver.

As a result, freestyle wrestlers won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals a day before the end of the tournament.
