Azerbaijani wrestlers reach semi-finals of European Juniors Wrestling Championships

The 2022 European Juniors Wrestling Championships kicked off in Italy’s Rome city on July 25.

Greco-Roman wrestlers were competing on the first day of the championship. Azerbaijan is represented by Said Khalilov (48 kg), Faraim Mustafayev (55 kg), Ali Alizade (65 kg), Ismayil Rzayev (80 kg) and Mazaim Mardanov (110 kg), according to azerisport.com.

All five athletes reached the semi-finals.
