Azerbaijani wrestlers to participate in Senior World Championship in Serbia

Three Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will participate in the Senior World Championship in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade on September 17.

Islam Bazarganov, who competes in the weight category up to 61 kg, will meet with the winner of the pair consisting of Reza Ahmadali Atrinagharchi (Iran) and Besir Alili (North Macedonia) in the 1/8 finals, according to Caliber.Az.

Three-time world champion and three-time European champion Haji Aliyev, who competes in the weight category up to 65 kg, will meet in the same round with the winner of the pair consisting of Beka Lomtadze (Georgia) / Agustin Destribats (Argentina), while Magomedkhan Magomedov in the weight category up to 97 kg will meet with the winner of the pair consisting of Nishan Randhawa (Canada) and Eric Thiele (Germany).
