Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation boss lauds national team for success at European Championships in Croatia

Azerbaijan's Wrestling Federation President Mikayil Jabbarov has praised national wrestlers who achieved great success on the last day of the European Championships in Croatia.

Jabbarov shared his views on Twitter on April 23, Caliber.Az reports.

“Our wrestlers have claimed success on the last day of the Croatia Open 2023 European Wrestling Championship. On the last day of the competition, we have claimed 2 golden and 1 bronze medals. Our wrestlers dedicated their victory to Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and all the servicemen defending the borders of our state. Victory was the one and only objective on such a remarkable day! At 2023 Croatia Open, the Azerbaijani wrestlers have claimed a total of 14 medals - 5 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze,” he tweeted.
