Baku names winners of World Shooting Championship’s first stage PHOTO

The winners of the first stage of the 53rd World Shooting Championship, held in Baku on August 17, have been identified.

In the men's 10 metres air pistol shooting competition, which is an Olympic sport, the Chinese demonstrated their superiority in both individual and team competition, according to Report.

In the individual event, Chinese team member Boven Yang won the gold medal with a score of 244.3 points. The silver medal went to Serbian Damir Micech with 240.8 points, while the bronze medal went to Bulgarian Kirill Kirov with 215.7 points.

The Chinese athletes also took first place and won gold medals in the team event. The silver medal was won by the German team and the bronze medal by the Indian team.
