Beach polo tournament featuring four countries to be held in Azerbaijan

A beach polo tournament featuring teams from four countries will take place at Sea Breeze Resort in Azerbaijan from September 11 to 13.

The Sea Breeze 2026 Beach Polo Tournament will be held at Havana Beach and is being organised by the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan and Sea Breeze, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Four teams representing Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Russia will compete in the tournament. The 12 participating players will include athletes from Azerbaijan, the UK, Switzerland, Russia, Argentina and South Africa.

Two matches will be played each day from 16:00 on September 11, 12 and 13.

The final is scheduled for 16:00 on September 13, followed by an awards ceremony and trophy presentation.

The event will also feature a DJ programme and entertainment for spectators. Admission will be by ticket, with about 500 people expected to attend over the three days.
