Biggest Iranian companies eye to actively develop activity in Armenia
The Global Innovation Centre has been permanently working in Armenia for the sixth month and is the representative of Iran’s national innovation and scientific-technical funds.
The funds operate under the auspices of the Iranian president and with an annual budget of $1 billion and representative offices in six countries have supported about 10,000 innovative initiatives, Caliber.Az reports citing the Armenian media.
The representatives of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia visited the company and funds on December 22.
Representative of the fund Sahman Moradi noted that the company intends to create favourable conditions for commercial and industrial cooperation and development between Iranian and Armenian businessmen, the Union told the Armenian media.
The centre renders marketing, legal, logistics, customs and other services to Armenian and Iranian organisations.
“Our task is to find new partners in Armenia, to implement new joint projects in various fields, in particular, in agriculture, medicine, construction and industry,” he said.
Hamid Dorri, founding director of the Bizor company, also unveiled his investment plans in Armenia.
The company, which produces about 50 new-generation non-traditional fertilisers, 12 of which are among the world leaders, intends to organise production in Armenia as well.
