Bitcoin up 16% to $26,000 for first time since February 21

The first cryptocurrency in the world, bitcoin, rose in price by 16 per cent, to $26,000 for the first time since February 21.

This is evidenced by the data of the Binance trading platform.

 By 17:45 Baku time, bitcoin is trading at $26,022, having increased by 16.26 per cent over the past 24 hours.

The day before, bitcoin rose in price by 18 per cent, to $24,400. The growth of the first cryptocurrency occurs against the backdrop of the bankruptcy of the American Silicon Valley Bank (SVB).
