Chelsea FC signs another newcomer
The London-based Chelsea FC has announced the transfer of Lyon's French defender Malo Gusto.
According to the club's official website, the team has announced that the Frenchman has been contracted until June 2030. Gusto will spend the rest of the season at Lyon on loan.
Lyon has announced that they will receive €35+5 million for the player. The 19-year-old Gusto has played 15 games in the French league this season, scoring one assist.
Chelsea spent over €450 million on transfers since the new management took over. The team's market value has passed the 1 billion mark. The move for the 19-year-old Frenchman is Chelsea's 13th transfer in the Todd Bowley era.
Chelsea has picked up 29 points after 20 games in the English Premier League (AFL) and sits tenth in the Premiership table.
