Conor McGregor confirms UFC comeback

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has officially announced his return to the Octagon.

According to Caliber.Az, McGregor made the announcement on his Instagram account.

On March 20, the Irish fighter’s 18-month suspension imposed by the Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) committee in October 2025 expired. McGregor had been suspended for missing three doping tests in 2024—on June 13 and September 19 and 20—each classified as a “failure to provide whereabouts information.”

“The rumours are true!  Mr. Confidence returns to save fighting again! Call your grandma! Nanny we did it!” McGregor wrote.

Journalist Ariel Helwani reported that McGregor’s return is scheduled for July 11 at UFC 330 in Las Vegas during International Fight Week, adding that only a “catastrophe” could prevent the event.
