Countdown to kickoff: All 2026 World Cup nations locked in

The qualifying campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup concluded overnight on April 1. 

The final teams to secure spots were the Democratic Republic of Congo and Iraq, Caliber.Az reports, citing FIFA’s official website.

The group stage draw is as follows:

• Group A: Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Czech Republic

• Group B: Canada, Qatar, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina

• Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland

• Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia, Türkiye

• Group E: Germany, Curaçao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador

• Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia, Sweden

• Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand

• Group H: Spain, Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay

• Group I: France, Senegal, Norway, Iraq

• Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan

• Group K: Portugal, Uzbekistan, Colombia, DR Congo

• Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama

The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, featuring 48 national teams.
