The terrorist attacks in Derbent and Makhachkala were synchronized in terms of timing and objectives, Dagestani head Sergei Melikov alleged.
"These attacks were coordinated in their goals, objectives, and, most importantly, timing. The perpetrators evidently aimed to create chaos by launching four simultaneous attacks, thereby complicating the efforts of law enforcement and security units to respond effectively, evade capture, and avoid accountability," TASS quotes Melikov as saying.
