EU actively involved in reconstruction of liberated Azerbaijani lands

The European Union (EU) makes a great contribution to normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The remarks were made by the Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Egidijus Navikas on Thursday, Report informs.

“The contribution of the EU to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia is very large. The EU is very active in the reconstruction of Karabakh, we see the interest of European business structures in this regard,” the ambassador said.

Navikas also noted the importance of signing a new agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan and relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, saying Azerbaijan is a strategic partner for Lithuania.
