Europa League: FK Qarabağ ousthines FC Nantes 3-0 in Baku

Azerbaijan's FK Qarabağ football club secured its first victory in the Europa League group stage after outclassing the French FC Nantes in a dominant victory on its home ground on September 15.

The game at the Republican Stadium after Tofig Bakhramov in Baku saw the Azerbaijani club secure a 3-0 win over the French side, Caliber.Az reports.

FK Qarabağ striker Owusu Kwabena scored the first goal for the "horsemen" in the 60th minute, while midfielders Zubir and Jankvic found the net in the 65th and 72nd minutes to complete the landslide victory.

In the third group game on October 6, FK Qarabağ will be hosted by the Greek Olympiacos.
