F1: Verstappen hails “fantastic” win at Azerbaijan GP despite "very windy" weather

Four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen shared his impressions following his win at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, İdman.biz reports.

“It was an incredible weekend for us. The Monza round was already great, but winning in Baku is fantastic. The car performed excellently on both tire compounds, and we were in clean air most of the time, which allowed us to manage the tires well, so everything went fairly smoothly," Verstappen said after the race.

"Of course, it’s never easy on this track, and today it was also very windy, which unsettled the car a lot. But I’m very pleased with our performance. Will we be able to maintain this pace? It’s hard to say. The last two races went very well for us, but the Singapore track is completely different and requires high downforce,” Verstappen added.
