Female sailor becomes Azerbaijani champion in kickboxing PHOTO

The 26th Azerbaijan Kickboxing Championship has wrapped up at the Sarhadchi Sports Olympic Centre.

Graduate of the Azerbaijan State Marine Academy, Farida Abdullayeva, working in the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company, became the champion of Azerbaijan.

She grabbed a gold medal in the weight category up to 52 kilograms, Spokesman for the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company told Caliber.Az.

She gained a victory over her opponent in three rounds by completing the match by knockout.

Abdullayeva is entitled to represent Azerbaijan at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, to be held in the Turkish Konya city in August 2022.
