Football coach Rufat Guliyev declines offer from Albanian "Erzeni"

Azerbaijani football coach Rufat Guliyev has declined an offer from the Albanian "KF Erzeni" football club.

Guliyev decided not to accept the offer to lead the club, citing a lack of prospects for succession in the national league, Caliber.Az reports citing local outlets. The club competes in Albania's second-tier league where it currently ranks at the bottom of the table.

The former midfield-player has been serving as the assistant coach for another Albanian club, Bylis, since September 2024.
