Foreign Ministry recommends Russians to refrain from traveling to UK

The Russian Foreign Ministry recommends that Russians refrain from traveling to the UK and trying to obtain British visas. This is stated in the statement of the diplomatic department on the situation with the issuance of British visas in Russia, circulated on Friday, TASS reports.

“Taking into account the extremely unfriendly course of the UK towards our country, in order to avoid financial losses and other possible problems, we recommend that Russian citizens refrain, if possible, from traveling to the UK and trying to obtain British visas. Until the situation normalizes, we will act in the same way with respect to the British,” the ministry said.
