Forest fire breaks out in Türkiye’s Marmaris

A forest fire has broken out in Türkiye’s Marmaris city in Mugla province.

The fire, which started in Icmeler town surrounded by forests, spread to the territory of a nearby hotel. Reportedly, there are several people inside the hotel, according to Daily Sabah.

Groups of the Mugla Regional Directorate of Forestry, five aircraft, and seven helicopters are extinguishing the fire.
The fire, which started near settlements and hotels in Marmaris city, has been brought under control.
