Galatasaray, Qarabağ FK match next example of Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood, says Turkish club's president

Dursun Ozbek, the president of the Turkish Galatasaray football club, has commended the last weekend's friendly match with Azerbaijani champions Qarabağ FK as yet another example of the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood.

Ozbek recalled the special attention from the Azerbaijani side, particularly from President Ilham Aliyev and Qarabağ FK president Tahir Gozal, both watching the friendly match on March 26 from the stands, per Report.

The match between Qarabağ FK and Galatasaray at the Baku Olympic stadium last weekend ended in a 2:1 victory for the Turkish side. All funds received from the game will be transferred to assist the victims of the February 6 earthquakes in Türkiye.
