Garabagh separatists agree to receive cargo via Aghdam-Khankendi road
Separatists in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, said that they will receive food cargo via the Aghdam-Khankendi road.
The "information centre" of the so-called regime made the relevant remarks, according to Report.
To recap, two trucks with food products have been waiting for 12 days on the Aghdam-Khankendi road to meet the needs of the Armenians living in Karabakh by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society. At the same time, Russia also sent food aid to Garabagh along the same route.
As Caliber.Az reports, Baku has achieved another strategic goal - the Aghdam-Khankendi road is opening.
According to the information, cargo from Russia will be delivered through Aghdam to Askeran and further on September 10. Thus, despite all the “refusals” and “red lines”, the illegal regime and its sponsors, realizing that there was no alternative to the Aghdam route, were forced to accept these realities.
As for the rumours that the Lachin road will be opened tomorrow, this is not true. More precisely, the Lachin road will be opened for goods of the International Committee of the Red Cross at the same time that the ICRC begins delivering goods through the Aghdam road. So far, this is not happening.
Also, one should not forget that the customs and legal regime of the Republic of Azerbaijan is in effect on the Lachin road, so it has its own nuances...
Regardless of the functioning of the Aghdam road, the issue of the inadmissibility of the existence of “grey zones” in the form of an illegal separatist regime sponsored by the Republic of Armenia on the territory of Azerbaijan remains relevant. That is, the opening of the Aghdam route cannot in any way be interpreted as an “indulgence” for the separatists.
