Garabagh separatists try to dig new trenches in Fuzuli Azerbaijani army takes urgent measures

The Azerbaijani army has thwarted another provocation by the illegal Armenian armed groups in Garabagh.

On September 9 around 09:45 illegal Armenian armed formations in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed, made an attempt to dig new trenches in front of the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of Fuzuli district, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry said in a statement.

The Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az that as a result of measures taken by the Azerbaijani army units, the work was stopped.
