Georgia’s foreign trade turnover up by 19%

Georgia’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $8,360,000 in January-May 2023, which is 18.9 per cent higher year-on-year.

The value of export increased by 18.5 per cent reaching $2,500,300, while the import increased by 19.1 per cent and amounted to $5,859,700, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgia’s National Statistics Office.

The trade deficit equalled $3,359,400 and its share in trade turnover constituted 40.2 per cent.
