Georgia tests locally produced drones
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the country's military leadership has taken part in the test launch of the first samples of locally produced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
This was reported by the press service of the government, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Georgian media.
It is reported that the test flights were carried out by the Warmate kamikaze drone and the FlyEye reconnaissance drone, produced at the Georgian-Polish enterprise Delta-VB.
Warmate is a loitering aircraft with high efficiency and accuracy of target destruction. FlyEye can perform reconnaissance missions in difficult meteorological conditions and during an electronic attack.
Georgia, according to Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze, plans to start mass production of such drones.
