Georgian Speaker to visit Scandinavian countries
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili together with a delegation will visit the Scandinavian countries - Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden on June 12-18.
During his visit to Norway, Papuashvili will be received by King of Norway Harald V, according to Georgia Online.
A meeting is planned between the Georgian speaker and his Norwegian counterpart Masud Gharakhani.
In Denmark, Papuashvili will meet with Queen of Denmark Margaret II. Moreover, Papuashvili is scheduled to meet Danish Parliament Speaker Henrik Dam.
During the visit to Finland, members of the Georgian delegation will meet Finnish Parliament Speaker Matti Vanhanen and other MPs from the legislative body.
Papuashvili is also expected to attend the opening of the plenary session of the Finnish parliament.
The Georgian parliament speaker will finish his visit to the Scandinavian countries in Sweden.
He will be received by King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf, and meetings will be held with the country's Parliament Speaker, State Secretary of the Ministry of International Development Cooperation Andreas Norlen.
